There will be nine AIL 2nd XV teams playing in the Metro League Premier 2 this season 2025-2026.
The participants in the 9-team Metro League Premier 2 for 2025-2026 are:
- Naas 2
- Greystones 2
- Wanderers 2
- Skerries 2
- Navan 2
- Enniscorthy 2
- Monkstown 2
- Malahide 2
- Bective Rangers 2
The league will be played in two phases. In Phase 1 all teams will play each other once. This phase will be completed by Christmas. The fixtures for Phase 1 are now published on the club website and clubzap with the league commencing on Sunday 21st September. Please note Enniscorthy's first game is Sunday 28th September
There are a number of fixtures that correspond with AIL fixtures between clubs on the previous day. These potential AIL/Metro League Premier 2 double header fixtures may results in date/timings changes. This include Skerries games against SCorthy currently scheduled for Sunday October 12th with the AIL game scheduled on Saturday October 11th
Phase 2 in the New Year will be split into one 5-team group and another 4-team group. The make-up of these groups as well as the playoffs will be finalised shortly.
