Club Newsletter, 24th January
Following a disappointing result last weekend in Cork, we are back in action at home tomorrow against Clonmel. Sitting just ahead of us in the table it promises to be a close and well contested game. South East Lions travel to Edenderry for a top of the table clash. We'll be looking to hold onto the number two spot in the league. We have a Towns Cup first round match in store for the J1s against Clondalkin at home on Sunday at 2.30. We have a plenty of Youths games in store both home and away across the weekend. Best of luck to all players, coaches and managers.

Minis training is on Sunday morning for boys at the usual times while Minis girls host Gorey for a Blitz.

Thanks to all who have supported the 300 Club Draw to date - tickets are still available, and we'd really appreciate you signing up :
https://www.enniscorthyrugby.com/products. The money raised provides vital funding for the development of Alcast Park.

We will be available at the game on Saturday if you would like to pay cash or via Sumup. We have a busy day of games at home on Saturday, so please ensure that you are parking safely. See details below, overflow parking is in the Showgrounds.

There will be music in the clubhouse after the Clonmel game tomorrow, where you'll also be able to watch the Leinster and Munster games.

The Club has received correspondence from the Leinster Committee to say that any teams where coaching staff have not completed their safeguarding and vetting will not be permitted to play competitive games next weekend. Safeguarding and vetting is mandatory and is crucial to ensure the safety of our underage players. Noirin Doyle our Child Welfare Officer is working hard to make sure we are compliant, she will be in touch over the coming days with anyone who is outstanding. Please focus on this very important action, we do not want to see teams unable to compete as a result of this.

I hope everyone is safe after the storm overnight. We look forward to a competitive and safe weekend for all our teams.

Annette Soraine,
Chairperson
