The 2026/27 season is upon us with initial difficult ground conditions due to marvellous summer, however the rain in past week has greened pitches up and allowed cutting and marking, with all three pitches now fully marked.
Our AIL team have a completely new internal coaching set up with Daniel Pim as head coach ably assisted by Davy Murphy, Tomas Stamp and Ben Traynor with Andrew Kelly as manager and director of rugby. (AIL fixtures 26/27). Please note preseason game scheduled for Tuesday night Sept 8th vs Bective has been cancelled
Our J1 are again under competent hands of Peader O' Mahony and their official fixtures start a bit later but as AIL team may have a few friendly fixtures beforehand, keep in touch with club zap for same.
South East Lions are again coached by Ross Barbour with Annette Guinan as women's co-ordinator(Fixture schedule). Congrats to former player Katie Whelan who gave some awesome displays from 9 in women's interpros and to Aoife Weafer who has been installed as captain with London Harlequins.
Club has entered a new initiative with neighbours Gorey to field an under 20 team which will fill gap between underage and senior level. ( details here)

A night of memories was held recently for our former player and coach Bob Breakwell before he returns to live in England , a gentleman and savage trainer but great night was had, president Liam Spratt presented him with Enniscorthy Jacket to show off on English rambles. (Photo Below)
